Double Offset butterfly valve

  • Introduction

    Suitable for various working conditions such as butterfly valve and vacuum pumping of air cooling system in thermal power plant

  • Applications

    Air-cooled islands of thermal power generation, hydropower generation, sewage treatment, waterworks, seawater desalination, etc.

  • The product is designed based on the EN593 standard of the European Union and AWWA C504 standard of the American Water Works Association, so it has a longer service life and higher safety.
  • The streamlined cavity in the valve body can reduce the fluid resistance; and the valve body is equipped with support feet and lifting holes to facilitate installation.
  • The medium and small diameter valve shaft seal can prevent the valve shaft from exposure into the cavity, thus reducing the damage caused by the medium to valve shaft, increasing the coaxiality, decreasing the valve operating torque, and greatly prolonging the service life of the valve shaft. Since the valve shaft does not pass through the seal ring, so the seal ring can be replaced without opening the valve. The butterfly Dsic is supported by the shaft sleeve to ensure the sealing and positioning. The valve can be installed horizontally or vertically.
  • With double half shafts, the flow capacity of the valve is greatly improved.
  • For the large-diameter butterfly valve, the upper and lower valve shafts form a T-shaped structure, to effectively prevent the deformation arising from the valve body.
  • The nickel-based stainless steel valve seat (overall forged steel ring) installed on the valve body by surfacing has super corrosion resistance and sufficient strength, which is a fundamental guarantee for a super long service life. The surface of the valve seat is polished, and the rest is sprayed with epoxy resin.
  • The elastic seal is on the valve seat surface, with the T-shaped seal ring embedded between the valve Dsic and clamping ring. When the butterfly Dsic is closed, the elastic seal ring is squeezed by the integrally pressed sealing seat on the valve body, thus forming a safe seal in both directions of fluid. The seal ring can be replaced without removing the valve Dsic. When the butterfly Dsic is kept closed, the valve has a function of enhanced sealing against the pressure of the medium from different flow direction.
